World’s Strongest Man
The Pit’s owner, Marcus Crowder has been selected to compete in 2024 World’s Strongest Man! The competition will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC May 1st-5th. If you would like to cheer him on up close, here is where you can purchase tickets to attend the event. If you can’t make the trip, then we hope you will be cheering and supporting from afar.

USPA Moving Mountains at The Pit
When: May 11, 2024
Lifting begins: 9am
The Pit will be closed to all members and non-members on this day from 8am-6pm. The facility will be shutdown and used to host a USPA powerlifiting meet. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but these meets are great opportunities are for us and great for our home gym members to get to compete on their home turf in a sanctioned event. Spectators are welcome, but fees will apply for entry into the meet.
